It has been nearly 6 weeks since I wrote anything and that is just sad. I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a whirlwind with everything lately and my workouts have been sporadic at best. However, last night I made a conscious decision that I needed to get better and refocus on my fitness. In six weeks, I’ve gained roughly 6 pounds. And I know it is because I’ve been doing some overeating and not working out as much as I need to do in order to not gain weight and get to a healthier weight. It is really hard to admit that I have gained after doing so well for so long. But I know that like other journeys, there will be ups and downs and as long as I don’t get stuck in a down spot for too long all will be well. So today, I started off right with having a berry spinach smoothie with some protein powder, honey, and some coconut oil. It made the biggest difference starting off the day with something that packed with nutrients. Hopefully, I can stay on point and walk/run/box these 6 pounds and anything extra off in no time.
